Two Abortion Survivor's Stories

In September of 1975, a woman discovered that she was pregnant. Things were very difficult for her, as she was raising two sons, six and 15 years old. Their father had walked out on them and refused to help care for the boys financially, or in any other way. The only alternative for this woman, it seemed, was to abort this unexpected baby. After all, she could barely afford to feed the children she already had.

Between the months of September 1975 and January 1976, this woman had three therapeutic abortions in an attempt to rid herself of the unborn baby. These abortions, also known as a "salting out procedure" are performed by injecting a very large syringe into the woman's abdomen, removing a certain amount of amniotic fluid out of the womb, and then injecting three times the amount of saline back in, thus "burning" the baby out. For reasons only God knows, these abortions did not take and on April 21, 1976, two months premature, her baby was born. The child was perfect and healthy, weighing four pounds, five ounces.

Unfortunately on March 16, 1977, the mother passed away, less than a year after her baby girl was born. After the woman's death, the infant's father and paternal grandmother took custody of the baby and her two brothers. As this baby girl grew up, her father told her about the three abortions she had undergone in her mother's womb but this little girl never believed him, as she assumed that if a baby is aborted, he or she could not possibly survive.

The truth only came to this girl when she was eighteen years old, married, and approximately five months pregnant with her first child. This girl needed and soon obtained her mother's medical records from the hospital that had treated her. Imagine her utter shock as she read about how her mother tried to terminate her unborn child three times. As the young girl read the medical documents, the new life inside of her was stirring and kicking as if to say "Mommy please don't get any ideas."

Today this young woman is 25 years old and is raising a family of her own. She is healthy and normal in every way, with no physical deformities of any kind.

I am the child that I have been writing about. My mother had no right to try and abort me, no matter what the circumstances were, no matter how inconvenient her pregnancy was. And if she was here with us today, I'm sure she would agree. Life is too precious to simply throw away. Now I can speak out against abortion from the baby's perspective. Any baby would choose life.

Amy

Gianna Jessen

Testimony of abortion survivor Gianna Jessen before the Constitution Subcommittee of the House Judiciary Committee on April 22, 1996.

My name is Gianna Jessen. I am 19 years of age. I am originally from California, but now reside in Franklin, Tennessee. I am adopted. I have cerebral palsy. My biological mother was 17 years old and seven and one-half months pregnant when she made the decision to have a saline abortion. I am the person she aborted. I lived instead of died.

Fortunately for me the abortionist was not in the clinic when I arrived alive, instead of dead, at 6:00 a.m. on the morning of April 6, 1977. I was early, my death was not expected to be seen until about 9 a.m., when he would probably be arriving for his office hours. I am sure I would not be here today if the abortionist would have been in the clinic as his job is to take life, not sustain it. Some have said I am a "botched abortion", a result of a job not well done.

There were many witnesses to my entry into this world. My biological mother and other young girls in the clinic, who also awaited the death of their babies, were the first to greet me. I am told this was a hysterical moment. Next was a staff nurse who apparently called emergency medical services and had me transferred to a hospital.

I remained in the hospital for almost three months. There was not much hope for me in the beginning. I weighed only two pounds. Today, babies smaller than I was have survived.
A doctor once said I had a great will to live and that I fought for my life. I eventually was able to leave the hospital and be placed in foster care. I was diagnosed with cerebral palsy as a result of the abortion.

My foster mother was told that it was doubtful that I would ever crawl or walk. I could not sit up independently. Through the prayers and dedication of my foster mother, and later many other people, I eventually learned to sit up, crawl, then stand. I walked with leg braces and a walker shortly before I turned age four. I was legally adopted by my foster mother's daughter, Diana De Paul, a few months after I began to walk. The Department of Social Services would not release me any earlier for adoption.

I have continued in physical therapy for my disability, and after a total of four surgeries, I can now walk without assistance. It is not always easy. Sometimes I fall, but I have learned how to fall gracefully after falling 19 years.

I am happy to be alive. I almost died. Every day I thank God for life. I do not consider myself a by-product of conception, a clump of tissue, or any other of the titles given to a child in the womb. I do not consider any person conceived to be any of those things.

I have met other survivors of abortion. They are all thankful for life. Only a few months ago I met another saline abortion survivor. Her name is Sarah. She is two years old. Sarah also has cerebral palsy, but her diagnosis is not good. She is blind and has severe seizures. The abortionist, besides injecting the mother with saline, also injects the baby victims. Sarah was injected in the head. I saw the place on her head where this was done. When I speak, I speak not only for myself, but for the other survivors, like Sarah, and also for those who cannot yet speak ...

Today, a baby is a baby when convenient. It is tissue or otherwise when the time is not right. A baby is a baby when miscarriage takes place at two, three, four months. A baby is called a tissue or clumps of cells when an abortion takes place at two, three, four months. Why is that? I see no difference. What are you seeing? Many close there eyes...

The best thing I can show you to defend life is my life. It has been a great gift. Killing is not the answer to any question or situation. Show me how it is the answer.

There is a quote which is etched into the high ceilings of one of our state's capitol buildings. The quote says, "Whatever is morally wrong, is not politically correct." Abortion is morally wrong. Our country is shedding the blood of the innocent. America is killing its future.

All life is valuable. All life is a gift from our Creator. We must receive and cherish the gifts we are given. We must honor the right to life.

You can hear and see Gianna Jessen in two videos here.

Now What Do You Call That?!

Something New

"Pregnant women now have an amazing new option of holding life-sized models of their unborn babies. A new invention, designed by Brazilian Jorge Lopes, converts data from ultrasound and MRI scans, and uses 3-D printing technology to create plaster models of those who are being "fearfully and wonderfully made" in secret."

I found this the other day and thought it was neat, so I thought I'd put it here for others to see.
I'm not sure on everything to do with it, but the link above was neat as well.

Choice

Just in case you can't read what it says.
This is Baby Choice, a precious 4 1/2 month old little girl, burned by the saline solution used to abort her. There are 4000 babies aborted each day in America, (one every 20 seconds). Abortion is legal thru the ninth month of pregnancy.
We have been led to believe that having an abortion is removing a mass of tissue. LOOK AT THIS LITTLE GIRL. she is more than a mass of tissue. She is a perfectly formed human being! IS THIS SUCH A GOOD CHOICE?
The date on this is from the year that I was born,
Meaning she would be about the same age as me.
But before I get on to the next thought, think about this. This picture (as far as I know) is from 1989, that is 20 years ago now. The rate back then was 4000 babies a day. It says on the side bar thing that one of the girls put up that, 'Today, we are up to 120,000 a day, -I'm sure it wont stop there- and 46,000,000 babies loss their life every year!
What are we doing for it? I would really like to know. we say "there really isn't much I can do without getting in trouble for it." "It's not like I'm going to go out at shoot a Doctor the does abortion like that one guy did!"
That's NOT what I am asking of you! By any means!
What I am asking, is, just for a few moments out of your busy day, if you would take some time and pray for the unborn, but most of all, for the hearts of the mothers!
I personally know 4 mothers that are rejoicing that they shall soon have a little one to hold in their arms and call their own, one they can bring up to know and serve the Lord as their King!
Praise God for the God fearing mothers out there!
Thought #2
A thought just came to me as I was looking at this.
Think of your best friend you had as a child, the little
girl you would share all the time with that you could,
that little boy that you would play cowboys and Indians
with, the kid next door, that every day of the summer you could, you'd be out playing football, climbing trees, going to the park, or just sitting on the front porch eating a red Popsicle with.
I miss those days of being a worry less kid. I mean, back then, the biggest thing I had to worry about was how to get down from the tree I climbed to the very top of and couldn't tell how to get back down! (No don't get me wrong, I was very worried till my friend came up to help me find my way back to the ground!)
But though I miss those years of being care free, I'm glad I had them, and I'm glad I had the friend I did to share them with.
Even more so though, I am thankful for the friends that God has placed in my life at this time!
They are the sweetest, closest, most Godly, and God fearing yet!
What would I do without them?
well, I would still have my heavenly friend, my Lord as Savior. But I think that earthly (Godly) friends are very much needed in ones life, that they may bring each other day by day closer to God. I have been blessed with many friends that are willing to point me in the right way when I seem to be getting a little of the path, and though it's hard at times to heed them, I know they want what's best for me, and what God wants for me.
So all that to say, She could have been my friend.
She could have been that bet friend that you never knew.
Or, your best friend, could have been her.
Only trying to get everyone thinking, not trying to get anyone mad.
One of His kids,
BSBT.

For the politicians and judges who profess to believe in God and pass laws to decide that to kill unborn babies is legal and should be one of our basic freedoms, you are in the same class as the abortionist, who kill unborn babies for a living. I see NO difference. You have signed their death warrants.

For those who claim to believe in God and say that abortions are wrong, but you still believe that it's a decision that a woman should make, because it's her body, you ARE a pro-abort. There is no such thing as pro-choice, because to be pro-choice is to condone evil.

Lullabye

I found this song on a CD that i have had for a long time, but i never really listened to it. I had heard it before, but it never entered my head. (Yes, there is a difference between hearing and listening.) It soon became my favorite song of all time. I put it to pictures, and decided to post it on this blog. I hope you all enjoy it as much as i do.

In the early centuries, sacrificing your child to a god of this world was a common practice. Indeed, in some places child sacrifice continues, albeit illegally. God clearly forbade His children to do this great sin.

Leviticus 18:21 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech..

Proverbs 6:16-17..These six things doth the Lord hate; yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood.

Psalm 106:36-38..And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them. Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils. And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

What if such a thing were to happen today, in our country? Suppose great crowds of people gathered to worship a brass god…cheering as parents threw their infants into the flames as a sacrifice….instruments playing loudly so that their cries would not be heard, and their parents hearts would not be moved?

We can well imagine the reaction! Such a thing would be called a great crime, a tragedy, infanticide, a terrible moral wrong, murder, a shedding of innocent blood. The shock and outrage would know no bounds.

And yet….it does happen.
It happens today, yesterday, and many days before that. It will happen tomorrow. In the United States alone, 4,000 babies are sacrificed each day. Each day around the world, more babies are killed than the total number of men killed in WWII. What are babies being sacrificed to, you ask? No longer are children -human lives- sacrificed to the ancient gods. There is no statue of bronze with a fire lit below it that babies are physically tossed to. No, the gods that children are sacrificed to these days are much different. They are called “my right to choose” , “my convenience”, “my time”…and so on. We live in such a selfish society that we would rather take the life of an unborn child than risk our precious pride, time, or money. “I don’t want a baby!” Is that an excuse to thoughtlessly throw away a human life? Who are you to choose whether or not a human being deserves to live? Isn’t that what Hitler…one not fondly remembered, rather, he is considered a monster, an evil entity, a mass murderer, and a cruel, evil person…attempted? The genocide of countless numbers of people who would not fit in his “perfect society”?

No longer is the music played loudly to drown out the screams of dying infants…now the doctors seek to reassure you with false platitudes. “It’s not a baby. It’s just a mass of cells.” Ah but it is a baby! Life begins at conception. When I was in seventh grade, the segment of my science course on humans had a chapter devoted to abortion. After reading exactly how an abortion is performed, especially the ones in the later months of pregnancy, I was a very shaken girl. I cried for a long time at the thought someone willfully choosing such a death for their child, before he or she even got to see the light of day. The only word for it is murder. Condoned, socially accepted, legal…murder nonetheless.

Maybe you’re afraid. Maybe you’re young, alone, or struggling with money issues. Killing your child is not the only “solution.” There are many wonderful people out there who want to adopt. One of my cousins is adopted, and my own dear brother John is adopted. I am so glad that his mom chose to not have an abortion!
President Obama says : “ Look, I got two daughters — 9 years old and 6 years old," he said. "I am going to teach them first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby”

Punished….with a baby. Punished…with a human life.

The land is indeed “polluted with blood”. And what are we as Christians going to do about it? Are we going to tuck it into the corner of our mind reserved for unpleasant things that we don’t like to think about? Or will we take a stand for the right?

What makes someone a Person??

I have a question for all of you out there...
What makes someone a Person??
Lots of people justify Murdering a baby by saying that "a baby is not a person."... I would like to know how they can say that.
If a person is someone with a sensible brain, then no one in the entire world is a person!!
What do we have that Babies don't??
Babies have 2 eyes, a nose, a mouth, 2 ears, 2 arms, 2 legs, a head, a brain,... need i go on??
Just because a baby cannot speak, or walk, does not mean that they aren't a person.
If someone were to kill a Pregnant woman, they would be charged with 2 MURDERS. If someone were to beat a Pregnant woman, and the baby died, they would be charged with MURDER. And yet Doctors MURDER over 120,00 Babies in one day. And they get PAID for it?? Somehow that doesn't seem right to me... How about you??

Meet Margaret Sanger

Founder of Planned Parenthood

Margaret Sanger, the alcoholic and Demerol addict, who spawned the International Planned Parenthood Federation, was a proponent of forced eugenics, segregation, abortion, birth control and sexual immorality. Here are some of her quotes.

"The most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members is to kill it."
-Margaret Sanger

"Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race."
-Margaret Sanger

"We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population…"
-Margaret Sanger

"Eugenic sterilization is an urgent need ... We must prevent multiplication of this bad stock."
-Margaret Sanger

"Eugenics is … the most adequate and thorough avenue to the solution of racial, political and social problems."
-Margaret Sanger

"Birth control itself, often denounced as a violation of natural law, is nothing more or less than the facilitation of the process of weeding out the unfit, of preventing the birth of defectives or of those who will become defectives."
-Margaret Sanger

"The unbalance between the birth rate of the 'unfit' and the 'fit,' [is] the greatest present menace to civilization… the most urgent problem today is how to limit and discourage the over-fertility of the mentally and physically defective."
-Margaret Sanger

"The campaign for birth control is not merely of eugenic value, but is practically identical with the final aims of eugenics."
-Margaret Sanger

"Our failure to segregate morons who are increasing and multiplying… a dead weight of human waste… an ever-increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all."
-Margaret Sanger

"The undeniably feeble-minded should, indeed, not only be discouraged but prevented from propagating their kind."
-Margaret Sanger

"The procreation of [the diseased, the feeble-minded and paupers] should be stopped."
-Margaret Sanger

"[Our objective is] unlimited sexual gratification without the burden of unwanted children..."
-Margaret Sanger

"[Mandatory] sterilization for [the insane and feeble-minded] is the answer."
-Margaret Sanger

"Give dysgenic groups [people with 'bad genes'] in our population their choice of segregation or [compulsory] sterilization."
-Margaret Sanger, Founder of Planned Parenthood

Margaret Sanger, Founder of Planned Parenthood, proposed the American Baby Code that states, "No woman shall have the legal right to bear a child… without a permit for parenthood".

Margaret Sanger, Founder of Planned Parenthood, proposed the Population Congress with the aim, "...to give certain dysgenic groups in our population their choice of segregation or sterilization."

"As we celebrate the 100th birthday of Margaret Sanger, our outrageous and our courageous leader, we will probably find a number of areas in which we may find more about Margaret Sanger than we thought we wanted to know..."Faye Wattleton, Past-president of Planned Parenthood

WOW! If just reading those doesn't make you sick, I don't know what will!

Death Camps Then and Now

The railroad platform at Treblinka, where the Nazi holocaust victims were singled out for death, had flower beds that gave the area a "a neat and cheery look." Today, abortion clinics use plants and bold colors to create a "cheerful and anxiety-free environment."

An inmate orchestra provided tangos, jazz and waltzes as the victims were dispatched to the "shower rooms" of Auschwitz. Soothing music is piped into most waiting rooms and "procedure rooms" of abortion clinics.

According to an Auschwitz survivor, 17,280 corpses were disposed of "per twenty four hour shift. And the ovens, with murderous efficiency, functioned day and night." According to a former abortionist, "From eight in the morning until midnight, seven days a week, doctors working in ten operating rooms performed vacuum aspirations on an endless parade of pregnant wombs." (Vacuum aspiration is a type of abortion.)

An Auschwitz gassing technician stated that, "I had no feelings carrying out these things." One abortionist stated that, "I never had any psychological adverse reaction, except for an occasional feeling that one was destroying life."

Margaret Sanger's American Birth Control League, which later became Planned Parenthood, published a magazine called Birth Control Review. Here are some quotes from their magazine. The ideas expressed by this group, along with the statements of Margaret Sanger cited above, promote a scheme that seeks to make race or class the determining factor in the use of birth control and abortion. Was Planned Parenthood's founder a racist who taught that some races or classes are superior, while other races or classes are inherently inferior, or was she just an elitist femi-nazi? The quotes here and above reveal the answer.

"Not only is it our task to prevent the multiplication of bad stocks; it is also to preserve the well-endowed stocks."

"… in the interest of social progress or the permanence even of civilization, the intellectual classes should have more children."

"Our most pressing problem is to increase the birth rate from the superior and decrease that from the inferior."

"The Aryan stock today is the most given to birth control and it must see that it does not suffer internationally by the relative ignorance of inferior stocks."

"… it would also lead to racial improvement to sterilize even those feeble-minded who do not necessarily fall in the hereditary group."

"Womanhood shakes off its bondage. It asserts its right to be free. In its freedom, its thoughts turn to the race. Like begets like. We gather perfect fruit from perfect trees. The race is but the amplification of its mother body - the multiplication of flesh habitations - beautified and perfected for souls akin to the mother soul."
Well, that's how it is. I'm not one the really likes when things are compared that seemingly have nothing to do with each other, but these things seemed to have a great deal in common in my humble yet strong opinion.
Look at this how you will. I'm not really trying to put anyone down, I think they put them selves down enough as it is.
Some of this I came across on an other site, but I didn't really want to link it for my own reasons.
There is so much more I want to put with this, but this will have to do for now. This is a blog anyway right, so I can post more when I come to it. For now, I hope this could open some closed eyes a little.

Jesus Loves the Little Children

Jesus calls the children dear, “Come to me and never fear,
For I love the little children of the world;
I will take you by the hand, Lead you to the better land,
For I love the little children of the world.”
Refrain
Jesus loves the little children, All the children of the world.
Red and yellow, black and white, All are precious in His sight,
Jesus loves the little children of the world.
[Alternate refrain:
Jesus died for all the children, All the children of the world.
Red and yellow, black and white, All are precious in His sight,
Jesus died for all the children of the world.]
Jesus is the Shepherd true, And He’ll always stand by you,
For He loves the little children of the world;
He’s a Savior great and strong, And He’ll shield you from the wrong,
For He loves the little children of the world.
Refrain
I am coming, Lord, to Thee, And Your soldier I will be,
For You love the little children of the world; And Your cross I’ll always bear,
And for You I’ll do and dare, For You love the little children of the world.
Refrain

God only Knows

She'll never see the beauty of a sunrise.

Nor pick a flower blowin' in the wind.

She will never climb up to sit on daddy's knee

Never spend a summer day with her best friend.

She'll never bake cookies with mommy Never know what it's like to be sixteen

Never share her love with that special someone Never have the family of her childhood dreams.

He'll never celebrate his first birthday

You'll never hear him call your name out loud

He will never run across a grassy meadow Nor will he be the little boy that makes you proud

He will never go fishin' with daddy Nor have the joy of buying his first car

He will never get to have his own family Nor hear

his little boy wish upon a star

Day by day and one by one we're killing our future By the thousands every day across our land

Can you tell what has happened to America? Is there anyone who dares to make a stand?

We have the blood of little children on our hands Only God knows just what they could have been.

But in heaven God is picking up the pieces Of the countless treasures we have thrown away

While slowly reshaping and remolding Those precious little helpless lumps of clay

So lovingly he holds them in his hand Only God knows just what they could have been.
